If we can only give children access to reading they will be able to use reading to learn further. I am driven by my good fortune to give other a chance at life as i have been fortunate enough to have. Climbing Everest has been a significant chalange for me but every child has to climb their own Everest at some point. I am trying to make a difference in the world so that all our children will be a chance to be all they can.

No South African and indeed no African has ever been above 8000 meters in height without oxygen and this time i will be attempting a summit of Everest without supplemental oxygen.  i will put my body to the extreme and ultimate test, will you make a donation so we can build more Mandela Day School Libraries? As Mr Mandela said, "It's in our Hands" to make the difference but it will take all of us together making small changes everyday to change the world.
