The Participate For Good campaign is a fully automated system that will allow you to generate funds for use in the creation of our school library campaign. Sign up today or email info@participateforgood.com to start your contribution to a better world in which all our children live. Our unique system allows you and your donors to be recognised for your efforts and indeed allows for you to track and view your direct results online.
Join our “Participate for Good” campaign, the concept is simple. If you and your friends are entering an event or even creating an event, then join our Participate for Good campaign to help generate donations for the creation of a school library. It could be a running race like the London or Boston Marathons, a bike race like Joberg2C, Transalps or the Joberg 94.7 or an adventure like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Simply register or send us an email at info@participateforgood.com and let us know what you will be doing and what you wish to achieve. We set up the system and load you as a Mandela Charity Champion on the automated communication and payment system that will help you generate funds and allow you and your supporters to track the donations online.

Mandela Day is a celebration of our collective power to do good and make an imprint on the world. You can add to the initiative’s momentum by telling as many people as possible about the Participate for Good initiative you are undertaking. Use your own network of friends, media connections, corporate and organisations to get involved and make a difference. Every library we deliver will give access to almost 1000 children per year for at least 15 years, so your impact is very real and significant.
67 MINUTES TO CHANGE THE WORLD
Mr Mandela spent 67 years of his life fighting for Social Justice, now all he is asking is that you spend 67 minutes of your time doing the same. You are already looking to participate, why not sign up and use your 67 minutes to generate funds through the support you could get from those around you. It’s easy and simple and we do all the work on communications, tracking and delivery. All you need to have is the desire to help those less fortunate than you while you go about participating.
Charity Details
Participate for Good is a registered Not For Profit Company (NFP) under South African Law with a Public Benefit Status and Section 18A status with registration from the Department of Social Welfare with registration number: PBO 130 - 694 and SARS tax# 9721753151. The Charity will issue Donors with a Section 18A and/or compliant Code 500 SED or ED certificate for use in the South African B-BBEE certification and for non South African based donations we are able to issue a letter of certification for a Donation. Our focus is primarily at the early learning stages of childhood development with a specific interest in Literacy. Our projects are long term interventions that partner with individuals and organizations to create sustainable and lasting results.
While we may not have the resources to help every child, we have a responsibility to enable each child to help themselves.
As literacy is the first step in learning we chose to make a difference in one of the most simply levers to poverty eradication in line with the Millennium goals, the ability to read!
